Market Prediction
Yesterday's trading, JCI closed only 0.24% higher to
a level of 6,699.35, at the beginning of the first
session it had strengthened to the highest level of
6,751 (+1.01%). The stocks that weigh in on the
index are: BBCA, EMTK, BUKA, BBHI & HMSP.
Foreign market players recorded a net sell of IDR
14.18 billion (all market).
Wall Street main index closed yesterday due to
Thanksgiving
Today's market is expected to move sideways with
a tendency to weaken as a wait and see step and
anticipation during the holiday on Wall Street's
main stock exchange.
JCI closed slightly higher with a bullish candle. The
stochastic indicator is weak, MACD histogram is
moving negative (sloping line tends to fall) and
volume is down. If JCI moves bearish, it could
continue down to support at the range of 6,636 –
6,662. If JCI moves bullish again, there is a chance
to strengthen again to the resistance at the range of
6,732 – 6,751.
Commodities Review
- Crude oil prices moved slightly with a
tendency to weaken due to the
Thanksgiving holiday in the United States
(US) market. Investors are still watching
how major producers respond to the USled release of emergency oil reserves to
cool the market.
Macro Economic News
- The Bank of Korea raised its base rate by 25
basis points to 1% during its November 2021
meeting, as widely expected, the second-rate
hike in three months, amid rising inflation and
mounting household debt.
Corporate news
- PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) recorded a significant 117.3% increase in net sales from IDR 84.2 billion in
the third quarter of 2020 to IDR 183.0 billion in the third quarter of 2021.
- PT Indomobil Multi Jasa Tbk (IMJS) recorded a decline in revenue until the third quarter of 2021, which
fell 6.35 percent to IDR 2.94 trillion from IDR 3.14 trillion in the same period last year.
- PT Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX) posted a decline in sales performance and net profit for the third quarter
of 2021, which recorded sales of US$507.8 million during the period January to September 2021. This
sales decreased 3.05 percent from US$523.7 million.
- PT Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk (TOPS) managed to secure a new contract worth IDR 58.8 billion from the
construction of the Building and Infrastructure (Facilities and Infrastructure) of the Regional Office of the
Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC), South Kalimantan.
