The capital market is believed to be the “profile picture” of an economy. It is believed that when the economy suffers, the capital market is soon to follow. However, this is not always the case. In 2020 as a consequence of the COVID-19 Pandemic, economies around the world suffer. However, capital markets around the world have recovered with the S&P 500, having surpassed its value before the crash in March 2020.

In this article, Jason Hadinata P. will try to analyze the reasons why capital markets around the world have recovered and surpassed its value before the crash.
